Introduction to Arduino
This week in Experience Design 2, we have been introduced to Arduino!
This is basically a small chip to which you can send code, easy concept ain't it!?
However this chip revealed itself being really powerful! The idea is that you will have on one side your board with your components such as LED lights, sensors, buttons, resistors, etc...
And on the other, the code - my favorite part to be honest :D - the code seems quite simple, I have been able to play around and after playing around with the code I managed to light up 4 lights one after the other :D
Anyway you can see the results of this play-around below, with this little video of the result, sorry for the poor quality but as you can imagine I didn't want to draw attention:
This has been a really fun experience! At the end we ended up with a code that made a LED light to flash faster or slower depending of the amount of light in the room!!
Personally that blowed my mind up!! Imagine having a desk lamp being more intense when it is getting darker during the day, no need to stand up to turn on the light, you can focus on your studies without having to worry about such thing :D
Overall my brain cells really enjoyed this lecture!
